Amanda Gore is a wonderful, funny, energetic and authentic inspirational speaker from Australia who uplifts everyone within earshot. I was lucky to come across one of her YouTube Videos about how to let people know you love them. She sends them "Zooties."
Her video inspired me so much that I wrote a little song about it and taught it to anyone I could find! Recently, when my dear friend, songbird Lisa Jane Lipkin, came for a visit, I taught it to her too...and we then raced to the studio so we could send Zooties to you in 8-part harmony!

Lucky me! I had a lovely visit with my dear friend, songbird Lisa Jane Lipkin, just in time to record four new Music Blessings during her visit. They are gentle affirmations to nudge us back to this precious present moment.
During the recording session, I understood on a very deep level the true meaning of the words harmony and blessed.
The song is simple. Ah, sometimes things are easier said than done...

Ever the messenger for the healing power of music, I share another story about the profound healing power when you link music and words. According to an Associated Press article article: Aniruddh D. Patel of The Neurosciences Institute in San Diego said new studies show that music doesn't involve just hot spots in the brain, but large swaths on both sides of the brain.
"Nouns and verbs are very different from tones and chords and harmony, but the parts of the brain that process them overlap," he said.
